Dr. Amber L. McGregor

Assistant Clinical Director

Dr. Amber L. McGregor received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Dakota in 2004 where she majored in both Psychology – Alcohol/Drug Abuse Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies. Dr. McGregor went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in school psychology in 2008. Dr. McGregor relocated to Colorado where she continued her education by earning a Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology in 2014. Dr. McGregor works from a psychodynamic approach during her work with individuals, families, adolescents, seniors and groups. She also has extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior techniques.  Dr. McGregor has worked in a variety of settings including residential, outpatient, and partial hospitalization. Dr. McGregor enjoys anything involving water sports, outdoors and spending time with her family.

Dr. Steven Ray

Supervising Psychologist

Dr. Ray has provided care in the mental health and addiction field as a licensed psychologist in Colorado for almost 30 years. During his career of clinical therapy, Dr. Ray has focused on providing addiction and mental health treatment to adolescents throughout Colorado. He has worked in the public school system, implemented youth drug prevention programs, trained other clinicians, and managed a residential youth crisis program. Dr. Ray has a doctorate of philosophy in Counseling Psychology, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Mathematics.

Dr. Lorretta Carrick


Dr. Carrick is a licensed psychologist in Colorado for over nine years and has been working in mental health field with her primary focus on providing addiction treatment to adolescents and their families.  Prior to working at Fusion Health Service, she has worked for both private and public entities providing mental health treatment throughout the state of Colorado community. Dr. Carrick has a professional doctoral degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology.

Dr. Sandeeep Shankar


Dr. Shankar received his Bachelor of Science, Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Delhi University in India. Dr. Shankar has over 28 years of clinical experience assisting people with the co-occurrence of substance abuse and mental health disorders. His passion is to provide assistance to individuals whose treatment plan is complicated by cultural and language backgrounds. Dr. Shankar has worked for the Fremont Correctional Facility in Canon City, multiple hospitals in India for over 10 years and a United Nations Refugee camp in India.
